SARFUND is free for victims — and that makes people ask the right question: what’s the catch? Here is the honest answer. There isn’t one for you, because you are not our customer. The recovery industry is.
The short answer
A recovery scam asks you for money up front. We never do. SARFUND is paid by the recovery industry for verified claims, and by licensing our scam-broker registry — never by you, and never as a cut of what you get back. That single difference is the whole reason this works.
Who pays — and who never does
Pay nothing. Ever.
Filing, searching the registry, and being connected to a vetted partner are always free. No up-front fees, no cut of your recovery.
Pay to receive verified claims
Vetted recovery firms pay to be in the network, pay for each evidenced claim we route to them, and share a portion of the fee they earn only when a case resolves.
Licenses our intelligence
Exchanges, banks, insurers and regulators license our reported-operator registry and scam-pattern data — the authoritative record we’re building of who is defrauding people.
Why we’re worth paying for
A verified, evidenced, jurisdiction-tagged claim is expensive for a recovery firm to find on its own. We supply it clean: the operator confirmed against our registry, the transaction trail documented, the victim’s identity checked. That is a real product with real value — which is exactly why we can offer it to victims for free.
What we will never do
- Charge a victim an up-front fee — for anything.
- Take a percentage of a victim’s recovered funds.
- Sell “top placement” — matching is by fit and by which partner already works your operator, never by who pays us most.
- Cold-call you offering to recover your money. If someone does that in our name, it is not us.
Why this keeps us honest
Because part of what we earn is tied to cases actually resolving, we only do well when victims actually get money back. Our incentives point the same way yours do. And because partners pay us — openly — we never need to pressure you. Transparency about how we’re funded isn’t a disclaimer we hide; it’s the proof that we are the opposite of the scams we document.
What’s the catch? — in plain terms
Is SARFUND really free for victims?
Yes. Filing a claim, searching the registry, and being connected to a recovery partner are all free. We never ask victims for an up-front fee of any kind.
How does SARFUND make money, then?
The recovery industry pays us, not victims. Vetted recovery partners pay to be in our network and pay for the verified, evidenced claims we route to them, plus a share of the fee they earn when a case resolves. We also license our reported-operator registry and scam intelligence to exchanges, banks, insurers and regulators.
Do you take a percentage of the money I recover?
No. We never take a cut of a victim’s recovered funds. Any success-based payment we receive comes from the recovery partner’s own fee, never from your recovery.
Does the partner who pays the most get my case?
No. We never sell placement. Claims are matched by jurisdiction, instrument and which partner already has an active case against your operator — not by who pays us most. A partner who underperforms or breaks our code of conduct is removed.
So what’s the catch?
There isn’t one for you. A recovery scam asks you for money up front; we never do. Our customer is the recovery industry, which pays for qualified, verified claims — the same way a comparison site is paid by providers, not by the shopper.
No up-front fee. No cut of your recovery. Just verification and a connection to someone who can help.
