Established investment & trading platforms
Well-known platforms people use to invest, in 2026. This is information, not advice, and inclusion is not a guarantee of returns.
Stay safe: Never invest through a platform that contacted you first, promises fixed or guaranteed profits, or asks you to pay a fee to withdraw. Those are the hallmarks of a scam.
Reliable dating websites
Established, mainstream dating platforms with safety and verification tools.
Stay safe: Romance scams move you off the app fast, then ask for money or an 'investment'. Never send funds to someone you have not met in person.
Safe destinations to travel to in 2026
Countries widely ranked among the safest for travellers in 2026 (Global Peace Index, government travel advisories and Booking.com traveller data), with real highlights to plan around.
Bullet-train between Tokyo and Kyoto. 2026 highlights: Mount Fuji and the Fuji Five Lakes, Kyoto's Fushimi Inari shrine and Arashiyama bamboo grove, Tokyo's Shibuya and the teamLab digital-art museums, and cherry-blossom season in late March to April.
The Alps in every direction. Ride the Jungfrau railway and the Glacier Express, see the Matterhorn from Zermatt, cruise Lake Geneva and Lake Lucerne, and explore Interlaken and the waterfall valley of Lauterbrunnen.
Land of fire and ice. Soak in the Blue Lagoon, drive the Golden Circle (Thingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss), chase the Northern Lights from September to March, and see Skogafoss waterfall and the black-sand beaches of Vik.
A spotless city-state. Gardens by the Bay and the Supertree Grove, the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, Sentosa's beaches and Universal Studios, the Night Safari, and a legendary hawker-centre food scene.
Cinematic landscapes end to end. Cruise Milford Sound, tour Hobbiton, try Queenstown's adventure sports, and see the glowworm caves at Waitomo and the geothermal parks of Rotorua.
Sun, coast and old-world charm. Ride Lisbon's Tram 28 and see Belem, explore Porto's riverside and port cellars, wander the palaces of Sintra, and relax on the Algarve's cliffs and beaches.
Vast and welcoming. Banff and Lake Louise in the Rockies, standing beside Niagara Falls, the CN Tower in Toronto, Vancouver and Whistler, and autumn colours in Quebec.
Fjords, mountains and the midnight sun. Cruise the Naeroyfjord and Geirangerfjord, ride the Flam Railway, wander Bergen's Bryggen wharf, and chase the Northern Lights in Tromso.
Imperial cities and alpine calm. Vienna's Schonbrunn Palace and coffee houses, Salzburg's old town and Sound-of-Music sights, the lakeside village of Hallstatt, and skiing or hiking the Tyrolean Alps.
Green, friendly and easy to explore. The Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way, Dublin's Trinity College and Guinness Storehouse, and the Giant's Causeway in the north.
Stay safe: Book flights and stays only through well-known sites (Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia). Fake 'travel deal' pages and DM offers are a common scam.
Legit websites for seniors
Trusted, official resources for over-50s and their families, current for 2026.
Stay safe: No government agency (Social Security, Medicare, the IRS) will ever call demanding gift cards, crypto or immediate payment. Hang up and verify.
Legal Bitcoin exchanges & trading platforms
Established, widely-used crypto exchanges in 2026. Reach them only by typing the address yourself.
Stay safe: Enable two-factor authentication, and move large holdings to your own wallet. An exchange will never DM you asking for your password or seed phrase.
Online job websites
Legitimate places to find work in 2026, from full-time roles to freelance gigs.
Stay safe: A real employer never asks you to pay for a job, buy equipment with gift cards, or process crypto or payments. 'Task' and 'reshipping' jobs are scams.
Legit Bitcoin wallets in 2026
Reputable self-custody wallets. Download only from the official website or app store — fake wallet apps are everywhere.
- Your recovery phrase (12–24 words) is the master key. Write it on paper, keep it offline, and share it with no one, ever.
- No wallet, exchange, “support agent” or “recovery expert” ever needs your seed phrase. Anyone who asks is stealing your wallet.
- Nobody should “help you set up” or “verify” your wallet by screen-share or remote access.
- Be very careful with “Connect Wallet” / WalletConnect prompts — only approve them on sites you fully trust, and disconnect when done.
